So, as I’m sure you all know, I (foolishly) decided to do #the100dayproject, hosted by @elleluna. And what else is a girl to do than draw a dinosaur a day for 100 days? You can find the labour of my love if you search in Instagram for #100daysofdinosaurs (or just click that handy link I’ve provided you with).
Anyway, we’re f i n a l l y here, the 100th day! No more dinos! (At least for a while…)
But I wanted to find a way to do something really good with these original pieces!
As some of you know I’ve been M.I.A and all over the place after I lost someone incredibly close to me. So I want to donate some money to the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign, to help with their research into how to make this terrible illness more manageable.
But I also want to donate it to Acorns, a charity which runs hospices that help give carers the break they need, disabled people to socialise and come out of their shell and to provide much needed end of life care.
So each of my dinosaurs are available to purchase with a minimum donation of £5 per drawing (half going to MDC and half going to Acorns). You can spend as much as you like if you’re feeling generous and want to give a bit extra.
The entirety of every sale will go to these charities. I didn’t know how else to set it up so I created a GoFundMe page – please pop along by clicking this link here and #donateadino to these fantastic and much needed charities.
I’d love to see what you do with them so please use #donateadino on social media to spread the word and share with me!
